Do you know that wayra means ‘Fresh Wind’? The idea sprung up in 2009 when our parent company Telefónica realised the true potential of innovation.

With a presence in ten countries (Europe and Latin America) since 2011, wayra is the largest global corporate accelerator in the world, with a clear objective: scale startups and enable them to build a long-term partnership with Telefónica.  

We, as one of the seven innovation hubs, are located in the centre of Munich.
