The Technologie- und Gründerzentrum [Technology and Founder Centre] Bitterfeld-Wolfen (TGZ) follows a long tradition.

For nearly 120 years, the region of Bitterfeld-Wolfen has served as an internationally renowned centre for industry and a base for research, development and manufacturing.

After large companies shaped this area for decades, several hundred small and medium-sized companies have now moved here. TGZ works in this inspiring environment and offers ambitious high-tech companies a one-of-a-kind basis for successful development activities.
The centre is located in „P-D ChemiePark Bitterfeld Wolfen”, a completely modernised park covering an area of 1,200 hectares, which offers first-class infrastructure and outstanding access by road, rail and air. In close cooperation with leading economic institutions and associations, the TGZ has the goal of supporting young, recently founded companies with its range of on-site services combined with comprehensive consulting services, the conveyance of synergy effects with other companies as well as university and non-university
research institutions.
